June 3, 2005 - Webmaster Webmail changes

There are some webmail changes. The old email can be found at http://208.56.214.197/webmail/. The new webmail will be set up differently, as http://webmail.bbqbacon.com/; it will take a bit for this to propagate. If you have been using imap mail, talk to Peter to get hints about transition. Mail setup info is the same as it was before; note that the new hosting only does pop3, not imap. You also have a new mail account, and the password is assigned in an email that I sent to your old account.

June 2, 2005 - Webmaster Website is rehosted to give 4 times more space

After struggling to stay under quota and not have email messed up, the site is now on a different plan, different ip address, and some small technique differences. You shouldn't notice the difference, except for this message. It will take 24-48 hours for these addresses to go through. You will see these messages appear if you are on the new site.

May 27th, 2005 - Ryan Lila Wins Los Gatos Film Festival Awards

At the 4th annual CineCats Awards, 'Lila' won the Spotlight Award and the Audience Appreciation awards... It was a really fun night, and thanks go out to all the festival organizers and the great judges. The rest of the films were awesome. Check this festival out next year, it's a good event. I'll try to get some pictures up soon.

Feb 14, 2005 - Peter And My Favorite Color Is Red

Well, it's the big Valentine's Day today. Happy birthday to my friend, Staci, and my eight-year- old cousin, Tyler. I was just using the Wayback Machine to look at old versions of bbqbacon.com, and noticed that it's been three years since I made the original Valentine's Day card video. Well, I thought about making something new. You know, updating it, since my bedroom alone is now larger than the dorm room I lived in three years ago, and I'm no longer a student of the college that I shot it at. So yes, a renovation would be nice. But my romantic thoughts about Valentine's Day were vanquished when I was sold for $7.50 to a homely young lady at a charity date auction Sunday night. So here's the same old video. Oh hell, just call it a Special Edition .
